There will be a forward-looking discussion on the expansion and diversion of our Waste Management plant, the realities of today’s recycling systems, and the practical components necessary to achieve zero-waste living goals.
This program will focus on the proposed draft of the Broward County Solid Waste Authority’s Master Plan and the recommendations needed to insure it is environmentally sustainable and economically efficient in it approach to reduction, re-use, and disposal of the waste generated across the county.
